The journey into cloth

So right now I only have a few cloth dipes for Ty, nog enough! I have a few WAHMs and some BG 3.0 But I'm really not diggin the BG's. I also have some more WAHM dipes on the way which I am excited to try. I'm all for the home made diapers, one they are less expensive. Two, I am helping someone out, and Three, they usually have much cuter patterns than the big companies diapers. Excited!

Well let me first say that Ty is 17lbs, 1oz!! YAY! He is also 26 inches long! AWESOME!! He is rapidly growing out of his 6-9 month clothes! Anyways today I am excited because I ordered a cloth diaper starter package from one of the BBC mommas. I have a few cloth already, but in her starter package she includes a few of each diaper which is really good because then I can see what kind I like. www.cowpattiesclothdiapers.citymax.com She has been really great helping me with sizing, so I can't wait to recieve these!!! Ty woke up super early this morning, he is now a belly sleeper. He still sleeps with me which I love, but Joe doesn't as he is sleeping on the couch! I try to put Ty in his crib, but he usually wakes around 3 and I'll put him in my bed, thats also right around the time Joe wants to come sleep. So maybe one day he'll go back to sleeping ALL night in his crib. Hopefully! I have been sorting out all of Ty's clothes and its really sad to put things away! I got out all his fall clothes so we are ready for the temperature change, its already starting to get cold! We had a few of the same outfits, so up top is a picture of the 0-3 size, and the 6 month size. What a difference! So sad my little man is growing up!

Shots

Yesterday, Ty recieved his 4 month shots. he didn't cry too much while getting them. Well not as hard as his 2 month shots. He had 4 shots, plus the rota virus which is given by mouth. When we got home he was ok for about an hour but then it went down hill. He was screaming and crying and wouldn't stop. I couldn't put him down. He would only sleep on my chest. We gave him some baby tylonel and he calmed down but was still wimpering in his sleep. I tried to put him in his crib or with me in our bed but he would scream every time. I put him in his swing and he eventually fell asleep. I slept on the floor under his swing so I could keep popping his paci back in. I feel so bad that he had to get the shots :( I'm really thinking of delaying some or getting them spaced out so that he doesn't have to get so many at once. See he was happy about an hour after them! But then it all went down hill! Poor baby!

4 Months Old!

On August 21st 2009, Tyson James turned 4 months. I can't believe it. The time has just flown by. I don't know where my little baby went! He no longer fits on my chest :(. He is getting such a big personality. He laughs at almost everything. He laughs when I laugh, laughs at the TV, laughs when i'm feeding or changing him....he's such a little goof. LOL. Tomorrow we go for his 4 month appt. I'm dreading it. It means shots. I wont be able to watch. They'll tell me to hold him down and then he'll scream. But at least we have switched doctors and this one is much nicer! I'll be starting him on cereal this week! Grandma bought him the highchair he really wanted...well that momma really wanted lol. We got the Graco Contempo which many people highly recommended. Its on order and will be shipped this week...so excited! Grandma also spent um....like another 200 on clothes for the fall this week lol. Thanks! He is so spoiled already! And she bought us a blender so we can make his baby food! I think i'll start today!!

Naps

Tyson will not nap in his crib, I don't know what to do! He has a habbit of sleeping in his swing. He'll sleep in there for hours, but he'll only nap in his crib for about 15 mins. I keep trying but nothing is working! He has been having lots of fun rolling over. For the first time yesterday, he rolled from back to tummy. He had only been doing tummy to back. I looked over and he was on his tummy....I missed it! But now he wont stop doing it! Its so funny!!

What a mess!

The house is such a mess. You can hardly see the floor in our bedroom. We keep saying we'll work on it but then we put it off another day. It won't get done. We'll keep picking up our clean clothes off the floor and wearing them lol. The rest of the house is a little un tidy but I can deal with it. Ty's room still needs finished. He is over 3 months and will still haven't hung his decorations on his wall lol. Today is mum's bday so we'll be going over there. Well Ty and I will...not sure about Joe. I did something the other day that was kinda wrong lol...the doc said I could start cereal a while ago because of his reflux but I never did because I vowed I wouldn't until he was 4 months....but I gave in the other day! I put some on a spoon! It was a mess lol...he didn't eat it...just played with it. I'll take a picture next time, but i'm waiting until 4 months. I'm dreading that appointment. More shots. I hate seeing his face when he gets them. He opens his mouth to scream but nothing comes out...until about ten seconds later and its so loud! Its the saddest thing. I cry every time he gets a shot :( Ah well....nothing too much going on right now...he's napping in his swing while i'm watching TV. I need to get a shower soon and go get my mum's present!

Where has the time gone?

Ty will be 4 months on the 21st! Wow I can't believe it! It seems like just yesterday that he came into the world! He is sleeping great, although sometimes he thinks that 5am is playtime and will not go back to sleep! Ah well, its just more time that I get to spend with him! Joe is amazing with him, he loves to play with him and make him giggle, its great, he'll change diapers, but wont feed him since we are having feeding issues...but thats ok! Ty is on Zantac for his acid reflux, but is still stuggling to eat. He screams and screams during most feedings, its so sad. I wish we could figure out something to help him. he'll be starting cereal next month which I am really excited about! Then on to veggies! Sometimes I wish I had mommy friends my age who lived by me with a baby around Ty's age. Keith and Wyatt are great, but Wyatt will be turning one in October! I love all my BOF MOMMYS! They are wonderful! I wish we all lived close by! Ty is so talkative its amazing! He was singing yesterday in this high pitched voice lol. He loves looking at himself in the mirror but gets sad when the other little boy wont play lol! Alright thats enough for now! I'll post tomorrow!
Oh and at his 3 month appt he weighed 15lbs and was 25 inches long!
